Guernsey Arts Open 2023 – Paisley Fractal in Silver
We’re delighted to announce that we’ve been accepted for the Guernsey Arts Open Exhibition at the George Crossan Gallery which starts in October.
We’ve painted a 6ft long canvas and drawn intricate paisley and lace inspired spiral motifs. Once again a labour of love. Creating a pattern that looks like it could occur in nature with the elements of crafted human elements like lace. Embracing the ever intertwined relationships between our perception of design and nature.
Combining our some of our favourite things – spirals , patterns , super tiny details and metallic colours.

Colour Theory Necklaces – Chamber of Commerce / Guernsey Art Network – 2021
This set of necklaces were part of the first of rolling exhibition in the Chamber of Commerce headquarters in the inner market in St Peter Port.
We chose a set of our greenery necklaces, all inspired by one of our colour theory essays. We wanted to channel our love of green and how it brings a sense of freshness, growth and life. Perfect for brightening the winter months and inspiring us to walk with a spring in our step. You can learn more about our love of green in the full essay.
A big thank you to the Chamber of Commerce for the display space and Guernsey Art Network for organising.
Three pretty blue opal slabs interspersed with pink glass beads and white baroque coin pearls. Topped off with stunning peacock blue baroque pearls which line the bold colours adding weight and depth to the necklace. This necklace fastens with a handmade sterling silver hook clasp.
Made from five faceted chunks of chrysophase interspersed with purple freshwater pearls with a fabulous metallic lustre. All strung on tiger tail wire which fastens with a sterling silver handmade clasp.
Made from five irregular faceted chunks of chrysoprase. Lined with brilliant pink agates, we love how the bands of agate vary in tone, it adds such a pop of colour. This necklace fastens with a handmade sterling silver hook clasp.

Energy Flash – Guernsey Arts Commission Open Exhibition 2020
Energy flash was exhibited as part of Guernsey Art’s 2020 Open Exhibition in the George Crossan Gallery, this piece was exhibited alongside work from 60 other local artists of all different styles and mediums.
Anyone who has visited our studio will probably recognise this piece. It was created from the leftover paint from when we first moved into our house. Using rollers and our hands we created the painting using quick motions and a flash of energy with the brightest red!
Inspired by Mark Rothko and his abstract sunsets.

Art in the Environment 2019
The art in the envrioment exhibition was organised by the Guernsey Art Network as a month long outdoor exhibition, inviting comment on the environment. We produced a ‘Carpet of treasure’ out of found objects and semi-precious stones, as our homage to Andy Goldsworthy.
