Guernsey Arts Open 2023 –  Paisley Fractal in Silver

We’re delighted to announce that we’ve been accepted for the Guernsey Arts Open Exhibition at the George Crossan Gallery which starts in October.

We’ve painted a 6ft long canvas and drawn intricate paisley and lace inspired spiral motifs. Once again a labour of love. Creating a pattern that looks like it could occur in nature with the elements of crafted human elements like lace. Embracing the ever intertwined relationships between our perception of design and nature.

Combining our some of our favourite things – spirals , patterns , super tiny details and metallic colours.

Green and Purple Beaded Statement Necklace

The rebirth exhibition commemorated the re-opening of the Harbour Gallery in it’s new location at 19 The Quay beside the old St.Helier Harbour.

We were overjoyed to be asked to come back and display our work in their amazing new space. It has been a pleasure to display and sell our work with them the past few years.

Inspired by the theme rebirth and the exhibition opening in spring time – we submitted a set of three necklaces that remind us of the colours and textures of spring.

They give us the feeling of just having had breath of fresh air, surrounded by soft greens and pops of colour from wildflowers.

George Crossan Gallery – November 2022

We are delighted to be selected for the Guernsey Arts Open this year. This exhibition will run from 12th November in the George Crossan Gallery in the Inner Market.

We also displayed a piece in the 2020 Guernsey Arts Open, you can learn more by clicking here.

For this year’s piece we have created our own species of flower… “the carfreesion – a mixture of a carnation and a freesia “.

This painting was made using a technqiue inspired by face painting where multiple colours are applied the the brush. Creating something totally different for us – perfect for a creative breath of fresh air.

Shore to Shore Exhibition 2022 -Harbour Gallery

We’re delighted to have been part of the Harbour Gallery’s summer exhibition – Shore to Shore.
We displayed a fabulous variety of jewellery made from lush greens and soft pinks which reflect the lush colours found along the coast line.
We’ve also used semi-precious stones which have a variety of textures to match with bumpy rocks and rough grass.
The necklace pictured is made up from rose quartz bars interspersed with green lava stone which is all lined with vibrant peridot chips. It’s like we’ve been for a refreshing walk along the cliffs.
