Fox Art Competition – Friends that Leave
We are excited to show our submission for the FOX ART competition. We weren’t selected for the exhibition – but we love the piece anyway.
This piece is called Friends That Leave – a collage/mixed media/painting/performance piece involving collaged elements glued to a canvas, and then being forcibly removed.
Inspired by Guernsey and it’s population management policies – and the inevitability of losing friends as life moves and changes.

Guernsey Arts Open 2023 – Paisley Fractal in Silver
We’re delighted to announce that we’ve been accepted for the Guernsey Arts Open Exhibition at the George Crossan Gallery which starts in October.
We’ve painted a 6ft long canvas and drawn intricate paisley and lace inspired spiral motifs. Once again a labour of love. Creating a pattern that looks like it could occur in nature with the elements of crafted human elements like lace. Embracing the ever intertwined relationships between our perception of design and nature.
Combining our some of our favourite things – spirals , patterns , super tiny details and metallic colours.

Guernsey Arts Open
George Crossan Gallery – November 2022
We are delighted to be selected for the Guernsey Arts Open this year. This exhibition will run from 12th November in the George Crossan Gallery in the Inner Market.
We also displayed a piece in the 2020 Guernsey Arts Open, you can learn more by clicking here.
For this year’s piece we have created our own species of flower… “the carfreesion – a mixture of a carnation and a freesia “.
This painting was made using a technqiue inspired by face painting where multiple colours are applied the the brush. Creating something totally different for us – perfect for a creative breath of fresh air.
