Opal and freshwater pearl necklace with handmade clasp in 9ct gold. Strung on nylon-coated stainless steel wire.
This necklace was shown as ‘Light on the Water’ in my recent exhibition, and is now for sale. Part of my collection comparing the natural inspiration with the finished piece of jewellery. Here it was winter light, watery depth. Weak sunlight glancing off the breaking waves. Subtle tones of white and grey blending to create a harmonious palette. Very demure, very mindful.
