Faceted labradorite and natural slab labradorite necklace with handmade clasp in 9ct gold. Strung on nylon-coated stainless steel wire.
This labradorite necklace was shown as ‘Beach Curve’ in my recent exhibition. Part of my collection comparing the natural inspiration with the finished piece of jewellery. Here it was the January light. The echo of the clouds on the soft damp sand, the regal curve of the beach. All those reflections and the promise of a new year, summed up in the shifting interior light of the labradorite. Depth not yet glimpsed, but inviting a deep dive to sample a new beginning.
