UK Customers please note

Your purchase is handmade in and posted from the Channel Islands. In order to avoid you being charged VAT and a further customs admin charge of £8, I pre-pay the VAT here in Guernsey and it is included in your postage cost.

VerpackG (Packaging Act)

We are absolutely passionate about recycling and minimising our impact on the planet.  To comply with the German Packaging act we have registered with the LUCID Packing Register. We have declared what packaging we use and do our best to keep all packaging recyclable or re-useable.

Our postal bags are recycled paper, and can be reused over again (take them on a trip around the world, by posting them again!) and our gift boxes are also recycled board and can all be recycled or re-used. The thank you card we include can be kept or go into the paper recycling as well.

This is one of our key ideals to keep the environment and planet in mind in everything we do, from making to posting.

If you would like to learn more about the VerpackG (Packaging Act) click here.

We think that every jurisdiction should implement something similar.

Processing Time

Athene’s jewellery is handmade by her in her St Peter Port studio. Each piece is individually crafted with care and attention. Most items are available from stock and will be despatched within 3 working days.

If your piece is made to order for you it may need to then be sent to the London Assay Office to be hallmarked. Our average processing time for gold and silver hallmarked items may be up to 1-2 weeks, however at busy times of the year, please allow up to 28 days for your purchase to be processed and shipped to you.

Commissions

If you’d like to commission a piece to your own specifications then please do get in touch. Much of Athene’s work is via commission and the website only provides a taster of the varied work undertaken. For commissions we offer a free consultation service via email or phone, or by personal visit to the studio, by appointment only.
