We think the little green lavastone beads look just like little peas. This is why we showed this necklace off on Great British Pea Week. An event dedicated to promoting the pea in our meals.
Amethyst is reputed to have a calming effect and is said to bring balance to the life of the wearer.

We created a triptych of statement necklaces exploring the feeling and beauty of the coastline and granite rocks through colour, texture and pattern. Recreating the lush, fresh and textured environment with fabulous emerald greens, raw stones and dreamy cloudy colours.
Creating these necklaces and exploring the individual characteristics of each stone was just like going for a refreshing cliff walk and coming home feeling inspired and invigorated by nature.

This piece was made from wonderfully purple freshwater pearls and chunks of purple amethyst, finished with a handmade sterling silver clasp. It cost approximately £300 when it was for sale.
The cascading vines of pearls create a lovely lustre that moves brilliantly when worn. The purple amethysts compliment the purple pearls while adding a new texture.
